Detroit Becomes Human DLC Teased By The Developers
Detroit Becomes Human was one of the exclusive games that came out on PS4, and it was well-received by critics and fans alike. After some time, David Cage, the founder, writer, director at developer Quantic Dream, tweeted something that hinted that a DLC might be coming out for the game.
The tweet reads “HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
We wish you all a wonderful New Year with a lot of love, friends, laughs, and of course a lot of fun! 2018 has been an amazing year for Quantic Dream, thanks to you.
We have plans to make 2019 very exciting too!#DetroitBecomeHuman #ConnorArmy” There wasn’t anything specified in that tweet, but Cage did mention that the studio has some exciting plans for 2019.
The question now remains, what could this mean? Well, logical speaking Detroit: Become Human DLC could be it. Why I say, this is because as we all know that game development takes a long time and it is very unlikely that Quantic Dream has a new game in development in such a short amount of time. Also, there is no way that the devs have developed the second game alongside Detroit and now the only thing that leaves us with is an expansion on Detroit.
It won’t be a surprise as Quantic Dream have been known for releasing DLC for their games, some of which are Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. This would make sense to continue with this practice for Detroit: Become Human. We don’t know when this DLC might be released or even when it might be officially revealed. This game released in May 2018 and it will make sense that DLC to be released. For now, all we could do is wait and keep our eye peeled for any news that we get from Quantic Dream.
