The American superhero TV series, The Legends of Tomorrow will be returning with its fifth season, and fans of the show are extremely excited to see their favorite heroes back in action. According to a report from TV Series Finale, the fourth season of Legends of Tomorrow got a rating of 0.29 in the demographic range of 19-49 and the total viewership was around 948,000. Despite being low by 39% and 37%, the CW Network gave the show a green light for the fifth season on 31st January 2019. The production was scheduled to begin in July of this year and the fifth season will be released next year.
In an interview with Digital Spy at the San-Diego Comic-Con, Sara Lance revealed that they would not be present in the crossover this year. Showrunner, Phil Klemmer said that they would be doing their own thing. Phil explained that their show is extremely hard to produce which pushes the production and post-production and the actors are also at the brink of exhaustion, which explains why they will not be present in the crossover.
According to IMDb, the upcoming fifth season is expected to feature a total of 10 episodes.
