From the recent development of this Anime, Eyesmon who created a fake Tokyo in the digital world evolved into the ultimate Digimon Orochimon. Taichi and Yamato worked together and defeated Orochimon. Suddenly a mysterious countdown began in both the real and fake Tokyo. Everyone is shocked to see the countdown of 9hrs and Izzy notices that the power is returning to their world.
Taichi’s group who are in fake Tokyo saw a spark of electrical powers flowing nearby even in real Tokyo it is happening. Izzy reveals that the phenomenon is happening everywhere. He also discovered that there are massive amounts of energy flowing from the world into the fake one. The countdown started to decrease faster and every energy is being transferred to the fake world. Another powerful enemy shows up it is Nidhoggmon who is a Mega Digimon that surpasses the ultimate Digimon.

Previously on Digimon Adventure Episode 18
As the countdown keeps on continuing Nidhoggmon gets more energy and becomes hotter. When the count down reaches Zero all the energy will be released at once. That will cause Tokyo to be annihilated and Taichi get up with Agumon end up the disaster. Nidhoggmon fires a laser from his eyes attacking Taichi and Yamato who manages to dodge. Izzy reveals that the count down is left with only two minutes. Taichi sends Agumon to super evolution and evolves to Greymon.
Yamato’s Gabumon evolves to Garurumon they both started fighting with Nadhoggmon. Garurumon unleashes a foxfire and it got combined with Mega flame from Greymon. They both manage to burn Nadhoggmon’s head who attacks the with the laser from his tongue. Taichi and Yamato’s Digimon gets infusion and becomes Omegamon. Izzy reveals that Omegamon is the Digimon that protected Tokyo from the missile. Only a minute left from the countdown and Nidhoggmon’s energy level is growing.
Omegamon uses his veil as a shield and block a cannon of fire from Nidhoggmon and fire it back. Nighoggmon started firing powerful lasers that got slashed by Omegamon’s sword. Omegamon fires a cannon beam that freezes Nidhoggmon and covers his body with ice. Nighoggmon manages to melt all the ice and he gathers all the energy and fires it to Omegamon. Omegamon swims inside the attack using his sword.
Omegamon manages to cut Nidhoggomon into half and stop him from destroying the world with only six seconds left. Every trace of the Mega Digimon Nidhoggomon vanished. Tokyo is saved from annihilation and everything went back to normal. Taichi’s mother from the real world is happy that Hikari is saved but she is the one who was able to see what is happening in fake Tokyo. Hikari just told her mom that Taichi is safe. While Taichi and his group are still celebrating they got sent into another dimension.
