Gotham Season 6 Cancelled or Renewed
In the beginning, the main protagonist of the show was Gordon and his early days in the police force but the creator then decided to included the Bruce Wayne character. Moreover, there are a lot of iconic villains from the Batman franchise to be specific Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange, Solomon Grundy, Ra’s al Ghul, Nyssa al Ghul, Bane and last but not the least the iconic Joker.
The cast of the show consists of Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, Cory Michael Smith, David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee, Erin Richards, Camren Bicondova, and Chris Chalk. The rating of the fifth season of Gotham was average which is 0.63 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.26 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 18% and 12%, respectively. Furthermore, it received some awards and the first season was loved by critics and fans alike.
Something could be said for all the other seasons. But it wasn’t good enough for Fox and they officially released a statement that said “As of October 6, 2019, Gotham is still ending this year so there won’t be the sixth season. The last episode airs April 25, 2019. Could it return someday or spawn a sequel series? Stay tuned for further updates.” The end line of this statement is something that makes me believe there might be more coming but we can’t be sure and all we can do right now is sit and wait.
