At the beginning of this year, Maruti Suzuki Baleno received anthat introduced cosmetic revisions which is a new infotainment system and more safety equipment. Beleno will have two BS-VI-compliant petrol engine options. First is the new 1.2-litre K12C DualJet with the Smart Hybrid system and second is 1.2-liter K12B petrol, which has been upgraded.
The price of the current K12B model starts from Rs 5.58 to 8.90 lakh, and on the other hand, DualJet Smart Hybrid engine is only available in two variants, first, the Delta whose price starts from Rs 7.25 lakh and second is the Zeta whose price starts from Rs 7.86 lakh.
The price of Maruti Suzuki Baleno has gone up because of that update. Now, the current 1.2-liter K12B engine model’s price has increased by Rs 13,000-20,000. And the DualJet Smart Hybrid variants cost Rs 89,000. K12B’s fuel economy figure is 21.4kpl. On the other hand the fuel efficiency figure for the Maruti Suzuki Baleno DualJet that is rated at 23.87kpl. Moreover, the Smart Hybrid system gives torque assistance that improves acceleration; it has a start-stop system that switches off the engine at idle that boost fuel efficiency last but not the least is the brake energy regeneration function that recharges the lithium-ion battery under deceleration.
On the inside, Baleno received many cosmetic changes like a dual-tone black-and-blue interior color scheme with the new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system. Also, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, the SmartPlay Studio, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, voice recognition function, in-built navigation, and the display also work as a reverse camera. Rear parking sensors are now available for all models, and it has a speed alert warning and seatbelt reminder system. As for the Baleno Hybrid will release in India in June of 2019.
