The auto battler strategy video game Teamfight Tactics is around the corner, and fans are looking forward to getting their hands on it. Published by Riot Games, it was first introduced to the fans as League of Legends’ sub-game mode in June of 2019, and later it was revealed that it would get its own game for Android and iOS. After its initial release, it managed to impress the community, and fans loved the extent of strategy elements needed to be executed to play the game better. There was a big spike in the user base, and according to the official stats, by September of 2019, Teamfight Tactics already had over 33 million registered monthly users.
Considering the success, the developers decided to build a standalone app for mobile users, and it will be interesting to see whether it manages to emulate the same kind of results or not. According to some speculation, the mobile version might be a little different as the developers are planning to add some extra modes; however, the overall mechanism is expected to remain the same as that of the parent game.
What is TFT Mobile all about?
The game is inspired by Dota Auto Chess, and the gameplay is pretty straightforward, as players need to group into teams of 8 to fight each other, and the last one standing wins. A match consists of rounds, and in each round, two players will be selected randomly to fight against one another or the computer enemies.
The battleground is formed of hexagons, where players have to strategically put their champions to have their control in the match. The official announcement of TFT Mobile was made during the 10-year celebration, and according to Riot Games, the mobile version was in its early stages of development. Dax ‘Lunchboy’ Andrus revealed that they intended to bring the PC’s mode to mobile in the way meant for a proper mobile game only.
What are the Features of TFT Set 3?
Along with TFT mobile, fans also have TFT Set 3 coming their way, and according to publisher Riot Games, Set 3’s thematic is going to be ‘out of the world,’ and it is teased to come with the skins of some of the fan-favorite stars from earlier sets. New content will be the prime focus of Set 3, but Set 1 and 2’s characters, along with their attributes, are expected to make an appearance as well. Cross-Play between PC and mobile is also expected for most of the major regions.
When is the update of TFT Mobile and TFT Set 3?
TFT Mobile and TFT Set 3 will be released by Mid-March 2020, and pre-register is already open for TFT Mobile for most countries; however, South Asian users will have to wait till the fall of 2020 to get their hands on it.
