In 2014, there was a crossover between Jordan Brand and Nike Skateboarding. This came about to be due after the designs were provided by skating legend Lance Mountain and artist Craig Stecyk.

Lance’s variant has the original “Banned’ and “Royal” colorways, and it covered the exterior entirely with white or black paint. This paint gradually faded away over time. Nike has recently confirmed Air Jordan 1 High. There is the same concept which is appearing in the 2019 versions. In one variant of the shoes, there is Lakers’ purple and yellow which transforms into a black and red. The second is a light bone version which reveals a pink hue beneath the surface. The two shoes have the Nike SB tongue labels.

The two colorways will be released on May 25, 2019. Each pair will cost $175.
