What is the plot of When Calls The Heart?
The show follows the story of a young teacher who belongs to a high society who comes to lives in a small coal valley where she gets her first classroom job. Life in the small mining town is packed challenges and with a recent explosion that killed a dozen miners. Compelling the widows of those miners she comes across Abigail Stanton whose husband was the manager of the site at the time of the tragedy, welcomes her and tries to help Elizabeth to adjust to her new life and the new town.
However, constable, Jack Thomson is not welcoming to Elizabeth at all he believes that Elizabeth’s father has doomed his career by posting him to the small coal town so that the constable could protect Elizabeth. The show is inspired by Janette Oke’s book of the same the Canadian-American Drama was in 2014.
