The company, Land Rover has confirmed the Launch date of 2020 Range Rover Evoque for the US. It will be making its debut at the Chicago Auto Show 2019. In the US there will be two engines, first will be the entry-level 2020 Evoque which will have the 2.0-liter Ingenium TC I4 P250 gas engine. Also, a four-cylinder turbo which produces 246 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive will be standard.
Second, will be the Evoque’s first gas-electric drivetrain. The P300 Ingenium MHEV is a 2.0-liter TC I4 with a 48v Li-Ion battery and an electric motor. It can produce 296 hp, while torque up to 295 lb-ft. Like the P250 all-wheel drive will come as a standard. The mild-hybrid gets Active Driveline torque vectoring, pushing the power from left to right on the front and rear axles depending on conditions.
Moreover, the Terrain Response 2 is fitted as standard which is a new addition to the Evoque. It will offer General, ECO, Sand, Grass-Gravel-Snow, and Mud & Ruts driving modes, along with an Auto mode that adjusts the SUV’s settings automatically. Also, an optional Wade Sensing feature uses ultrasonic sensors that see how close to the 23.6-inch maximum wading depth the driver is getting. As for the interior, it will have a Range Rover’s InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that splits its interface over two touchscreens is an option.
will have a 12.3-inch drive display and full-color head-up display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and there is a Smart Settings feature that preemptively adjusts the cabin settings based on observations of the driver’s preferences. 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot support and six USB ports are offered. Range Rover Evoque 2020 will go on sale in spring of 2019 in the US, and its price will start from $42,650.
