The information broke out from a video through Watchtower Base, which showcased a segment of the “Fatman Beyond” podcast featuring Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin, who shared their thoughts about the rumors of a sequel to the DC’s classic Batman: The Animated Series. During the podcast, Marc Bernardin initiated the conversation about the topic. He stated that there is a rumor that HBO Max is planning to make a sequel to the Batman: The Animated Series and want to continue the story of the series.

At first, Kevin Smith joked, stating he doesn’t know what Marc is talking about, but Smith’s excitement told many things, and soon, he revealed that even he had heard the same news. Kevin Smith quoted that he is not too involved, but yes, he had heard the news and heard it from very reliable people and revealed that when he heard it for the first time, he freaked out, which was like a month ago before Marc asked about it on the podcast that day.
