In Tartt’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Goldfinch, Ansel Elgort stars as the lead. You may Elgort from his best work such as The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent film trilogy, Baby Driver. The actor-musician has a bright future ahead; he will be seen high-profile acting roles in the future, recently signed as Tony in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story remake.
The story of Goldfinch is the story of Theodore Decker, who gets caught up in a spiral of bad things. He loses his mother as a child; she became the victim of a terrorist bombing of an art museum. Next, she gets up caught in mixed adventures to let go whatever he didn’t understand.
Peter Straughan scripts goldfinch and directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn). The other cast of the movie includes Nicole Kidman and Jeffrey Wright in critical roles, but as opposite Elgort and Oakes Fegley as the older and younger Theodore, respectively.
The Goldfinch will air in about three months from now. Warner Bros. just came out with the trailer for the same:
The story of Goldfinch is the story that goes back and forth in Theo’s life. It will be released on September 13, 2019, after previously being set for October 11.
