His next film, Tenki no Ko: Weathering With You, has already grabbed a lot of attention for its attention to details, with all this the fans can’t wait for it, and they are hoping this film will be more successful than the last film. The hype for the film got even more insane when a full clip was released by Moetron News. This gave the fans a look at a very interesting scene, which was when the protagonist, Hina, was controlling the weather.
All of the films that Shinkai made dives deep into a different kind of relationship as two characters are trying to close the distance between each other. And with some magical realism put into it makes it an even more amazing. This films animation is insane, and it hasn’t disappointed me when I saw the trailer. In this film, there are two protagonists who are named as Hina and Hodaka. As for the release date, this film is currently scheduled to release on 19 July in Japan.
The direct and writing for the film will be done by non-other than Makoto Shinkai. The character design will be handled by Masayoshi Tanaka, and Atsushi Tamura will serve as animation director. Last but not least, Hiroshi Takiguchi will be the art director of this film. As for the cast, Kotaro Daigo as Hodaka Morishima and Nana Mori as Hina Amano along with Tsubasa Honda, Shun Oguri, Sakura Kiryuu, Sei Hiraizumi, Yuki Kaji, and Chieko Baisho are currently unconfirmed roles.
Moreover, GKIDS revealed that the English language would release with the current release window of 2020.
