Since its debut in the early ’90s, Tekken has been an absolute treat of a game in the gaming world. It’s not just a game; it’s a creation that’s left an impact on generations of gamers. From the thumping bass of its iconic theme music to the adrenaline-pumping thrill of unleashing your favourite character’s signature moves, Tekken has managed to hype gamers and non-gamers as well.
Tekken 8: Everything to Know
Over the years, Tekken has expanded its franchise with spin-offs, crossovers, and even a hit animated film. From the bustling arcades of the ’90s to the modern consoles and esports arenas of today, Tekken has evolved and stayed ahead of the times, proving that its legacy will stay forever. So, let’s see what Tekken 8 has to offer.
The Plot
In Tekken 8, the saga continues, picking up six months after the events of Tekken 7, where Heihachi Mishima’s tumultuous journey came to a dramatic end at the hands of his son Kazuya.
This time, the spotlight is on Kazuya and his son Jin Kazama, as they gear up for a clash that will determine the fate of the Devil gene. Amidst the intense family feud, Jun Kazama, missing in action for several games, makes an exciting return, donning a fresh look crafted by the talented Mari Shimazaki, the artist behind Bayonetta’s iconic design.
The Gameplay
In the genre of fighting games, Tekken sets itself apart from its rivals such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, by emphasizing “three-dimensional brawling within expansive arenas.”
The upcoming sequel, Tekken 8, takes this experience to a whole new level with its aggressive atmosphere and the introduction of the Heat gauge system. This new meter rewards players for their push-forward action, giving each character a unique set of powerful attacks and tactical opportunities.
From the flashy Heat Burst that opens up devastating combos to character-specific Heat Engagers and Heat Dash manoeuvres, the Heat system adds depth and excitement to the battles. Also, the Heat Smash move allows players to unleash a potent attack in exchange for consuming their entire Heat gauge.
The system for performing diverse character experimentation enhances the gameplay, providing thrilling moments and spectacle during esports events, especially with the stage destruction feature that has been created to stand out in competitive play.

These are the minimum specs you need to run the game smoothly:
- Memory: 4 GB
