The upcoming episode of The Handmaid’s Tale premieres coming Wednesday, July 31, 2019, on Hulu. June’s next is to help as many children escape from Gilead as she can. The dystopian-highly disturbing drama is drawing close to Season 3 end, 13 episodes for this season. So what happens next for June (Elizabeth Moss) and co. Will June be able to bring down Gilead, seems highly unlikely this season. But I think we may be waiting for the silver lining and some help is arriving for June soon.
The silver lining may come front in the form of Marthas- who batted for June at the end of Season 2. Martha Beth (Kristen Gutoskie) asks June, in the very beginning of the promo-episode about what her plans are and that the Marthas are in the household to ask her about them.
Beth asks June to just answer their questions, and not ask any. Don’t say anything extra June, Beth tells her. One of the Marthas asks June if she’s working on a plan to get kids out and who’s asked her to do that? another one remarks that her plan is a dumb idea.
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Episode 11
In the promo, you can see Jun looking through the files of Handmaids, to be able to work out where their children are now. Things are getting heat up because the filthy Waterford are doing everything they can to press Canada to return baby Nicole. The satanic duo- Fred and Serena has headed Canada in the promo, we think.
Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) pulls up in a car for Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski).
“May the Lord bless our endeavor,” Fred exclaims, Serena says Amen to that. Maybe not Nick, for now, we could very easily see Emily (Alexis Bledel), Moira (Samira Wiley) and Luke (O. T. Fagbenle) in Episode 11.
Again, the troubles Lawrence’s are having seem to be unending. Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) and his wife Eleanor (Julie Dretzin), the latter broke down at the ceremony in episode 10. Her bipolar disorder seems to be getting the best of her and she is being denied access to healthcare and drugs in Gilead.
Eleanor points a gun at Commander Lawrence and says: “You were brutalized because of him.” I am happy to see Lawrence in a moral conundrum because of what he created, the monster of Gilead has begun to hit him where it hurts the hardest- Elenor. Lawrence’s escape from what he created seems quite the challenge and so does June’s plan to evacuate the children.
The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 airs weekly on Hulu on Wednesdays and airs on Channel 4 in the UK every Sunday at 9 pm.
