A new Avengers game was recently revealed and it will be a VR game. It will be called Avengers: Damage Control and it looks pretty awesome. This game as been billed as a “VR experience,” this game is a completely immersive action shooter which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will be available at select The VOID locations. Avengers Damage Control update
Then we see the gameplay footage in which we are welcomed by Spider-Man. After that, we see players using repulsor blasts with the skeletal Ultron drones while flying above New York. It seems like it is a rail shooter with a bit of mobility mixed in. This is perfectly suited for the full-body VR experiences offered by The VOID. Moreover, we see Ultron himself who has acquired a body that is humongous in size and with it, he stomps across what appears to be S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Helicarrier makes its way towards the player and we also see the player is inside a Quinjet, as drones attack from every angle and smash their way inside. At the end of the trailer, we see many fighting sequences which include the Hulk making his trademark entrance and Spider-Man catching a Quinjet in a flat spin just before it smashes into the player. Many more members of the Avengers are shown in this trailer like Falcon, Black Panther, War Machine, Ant-Man, and the Wasp who all are lending a hand against the titanic Ultron
At the ending of the trailer, we see Ant-Man and the Wasp as they argue whether or not Golden Girls reruns constitutes a date which was pretty funny. This game looks pretty good and it is a good combination between the MCU and the VR experiences offered by The VOID. If you want to see the trailer, you can check it out down below.
