Tom Clancy’s Jack Rayan will be returning for a second season. It first made its debut on 31 August 2018 and its renewal was announced on 24 April. The release date of the show has been revealed which is 1 November 2019. Moreover, a trailer for the show has been revealed too in which we Jack in Venezuela, dealing with a collapsing government and Russian arms dealers. The cast for the show has been confirmed.
Jack Ryan Season 2 Cast
The show will star Michael Kelly who will be joining Jack Ryan Season 2. He will be playing the role of Mike November who is a smart, seasoned CIA lifer and field officer that will work with Jack. Noomi Rapace from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Prometheus fame will be joining as series regular, this was announced by Amazon at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con 2018 panel. She will play the role of Harriet “Harry” Baumann, a highly capable, intelligent and charming German Intelligence agent, who crosses paths with Jack in South America.
Other cast additions include Jovan Adepo, Jordi Molla, Cristina Umaña, and Francisco Denis. Moreover, Wendell Pierce, who plays James Greer, in Season 1, is confirmed for a return in Season 2. The episode count of the show is still unknown but it might be 8 episodes just like the first season. As for the story, the official synopsis on Amazon reads
“In the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, after tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan, portrayed by John Krasinski (A Quiet Place), heads down to South America to investigate.
