This is the showdown between the master and the student. Sakurawa’s couch used to play under Nekoma’s coach and his plan is to put more pressures on Nekoma’s setter. They want to wear #5 Kenma down physically not mentally since it is hard for them to do that. Kenma is Nekoma’s brain and Sakurawa coach wants to destroy the brain. Kenma is already getting worn out physically due to the pressure of Sakurawa’s defense who keeps him running around the court.
Kenma remembers when he entered Nekoma at his first-year training where he finds himself running. He hates running but he has no choice but to do it and build stamina for his matches.
