Adapted from manga series titled Apocalyptic Academy: Highschool of the Dead “Highschool of the Dead” is an anime adaptation of great work by Daisuke Satō and Shōji Satō. Fujimi Shobo first published the manga in May 2013.

The anime adaption was a massive hit in Japan and has already gained a worldwide recommendation. Six plus years have already passed since the first season aired, and fans are still waiting for Highschool of the Dead Season 2 Release Date.

Season 1 of the anime ended with a cliff hanger episode which provided hope for Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead and also mentioned a typical “To be Continued” message. Although the writer of series Daisuke Sato passed away in 2017 leaving the manga incomplete Apart from that, the production house of the show did not make any comment on the second season of High School of the Dead.

Highschool Of The Dead Season 1

The first season of High School of the Dead aired nearly six years ago. Many fans are deeply discouraged by some speculations that declare the anime has been discontinued. Although many rumors and unconfirmed source mention, the work on Season 2 has already begun.

The story of the show revolves around Takashi Komuro who is a seventeen-year-old second-year student and the main protagonist of the series. He is followed by his other friends like Rei Miyamoto, Saeko Busujima, and one and only badass Kohta Hirano. Takashi is not though brightest kid in the school according to grades but does have fantastic leadership qualities.
