It seems like Demon Slayer is finally approaching its end. Muzan has been killed, all characters are slowly getting their arcs closed one by one. Even Nezuko became human once more. However, there is still one more problem left unsettled: Tanjiro is now a raging demon who is at least as strong as weakened Muzan. In Demon Slayer 202, we will see both Tanjiro and Nezuko reunite after a long separation.
In the previous chapter, Muzan is confirmed officially dead, but his memories and blood have been transferred to Tanjiro. In a surprising turn of events, Tanjiro became his successor and the most powerful demon as of the moment. Inosuke and the others are not sure whether to fight their comrade because of all the things they have done together.
Tanjiro ignores every word from his comrade and tries to hurt Inosuke. In Demon Slayer 202, it seems like Inosuke still has his luck because he will be saved by no other than Nezuko. She will attack Tanjiro with one great bear hug.
Nezuko will try to use the Talk no Jutsu to snap Tanjiro out of it. Since she’s now a human, if this will not work, she’s as good as dead. Although it seems to be working, the influence of Muzan’s memory seems to be stronger. Tanjiro even dug his fingers into Nezuko’s back, during the hug, injuring her. Zenitsu and Inosuke will join the bear hug, however, this will be cut short when Tanjiro mutates into another demon form.
While Nezuko is still clinging to him, Tanjiro transformed into a form with whip-like spines protruding from his back (similar to Muzan’s whip-like form). He will once again start his attack on the remaining Demon Slayers. Will Nezuko be able to help him regain his consciousness and stop his rampage? We will find out soon in the next chapter, so stay tuned.
