Game of Thrones Spin-off Release Date And Updates: When Is The First Spin-off On TV?

Game of Thrones Spin-off Release Date

It’s been over a year since we first heard that there were going to be Game of Thrones spin-offs, and George R.R Marin said that there could as many as five, or maybe even more.

What’s interesting is that work on one of those has already begun, and the writer is Jane Goldman. We’re told that she’s writing the pilot of the show, and if it is good enough, we will get a full series. In this post, we’ll be discussing everything that we know about the Game of Thrones spin-off, so let’s get started!

Before we begin, please note that this post may contain official spoilers from Game of Thrones. If being spoiled is not for you, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.

So, the Long Night is finally over in Game of Thrones, and we all know how dreadful it was. However, this wasn’t the first time that the Long Night fell upon the living. Thousands of years ago, the Long Night first began, and in that Night, the White Walkers came for the first time. According to reports, the spin-off will be based on the first Long Night, meaning we’ll see the Children of the Forest, the First Men, and the history of the White Walkers properly!

Filming for it is underway already, and hopefully, we’ll see more updates as we go forward. Brian Cogman was also doing another spin-off, but we’re told that his spin-off has been canceled, which is sad because he was one of my favorite writers on the show.

There are going to be more spin-offs, and hopefully, we’ll hear on them soon too.
