The CW confirmed Season 8 of highly popular drama Arrow. The confirmation of Arrow season 8 was made about a month ago, and today we’ll indulge in all the details of its air date, cast, trailer, etc. As always, Stephen Amell will lead the Arrow eighth installment as cast member Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. Let’s find out more about Season 8 of Arrow.

Arrow season 8 doesn’t have an air date yet on The CW for the USA or on SkyOne for the UK. As you may know, Arrow has been very consistent with the air date. And every series of the shoe has always aired between October 5 and October 15 in the US on The CW. So if Arrow follows the very same air date pattern, Season 8 may come out in October.

The CW airs Arrow on Mondays, as you may know. So naturally one must expect Season 8 to air on either October 7 or 14 of 2019 if all goes well. As goes for the UK release, Season 8 of Arrow will air weeks after Season 8 on CW, in the US does.

Regarding the cast of Arrow, we’ll see Stephen Amell as the lead of the show, Oliver Queen. John Diggle (played by David Ramsey), Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) are all expected to be back. But, Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) won’t make it this time.

As goes for plot details on Season 8, there’s the talk of a crossover from the Arrowverse series. Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book will see, The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) trying her level best to stop five parallel Earths from being pulled into a limbo universe. But this crossover will feature neither Green Arrow or Supergirl, so we can’t expect new character development along these lines.

Updated on 14 May 2019:

The seventh season has concluded with its 22-episode run, and now the fans are going crazy to know what will happen next. We already know that the show has been renewed for the eighth season so Oliver’s adventures will continue forward. Nonetheless, the renewal also had terrible news coupled, as the eighth season will be the last season.

With that being said, the story will lean towards a conclusion, and it is proposed that Oliver will die a hero’s death. Also, the eighth season will have only ten episodes, which is too low when compared to 22 or 23 episodes of the other seasons. Also, the final season will premiere in October, although no confirmed release date is announced.
