Hard hit by Game of Thrones ending after seven epic seasons and 8th dull dud, Kit Harington experienced issues before the finale episode even aired on HBO. The last of it all was titled as “The Iron Throne,” and it became one of the lowest rated episodes of the show, the season overall became the worst rated GoT seasons of all time.
While cast members have gone on to do different things, there’s the star of the show, Kit Harington who’s had it rough. Earlier today we were bombarded with the news that Kit Harington sought rehab in L.A following alcoholism problems. All of this was attributed to the end of Game of Thrones which doesn’t seem to have gone well with the star.
But Kit’s reps jumped right into the action and said that Kit instead had decided to utilize this break in his schedule. He sees this as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues. The reps clearly said that Kit didn’t seek help for “rehab” but “wellness retreat.”
Kit Harington played Jon Snow on ‘Thrones, ‘ before the May 19, finale entered a luxury Connecticut facility for a mental health retreat. Kit is being treated for stress, exhaustion, and alcohol abuse.
Kit had also said that he was in “darkest point” when his character Jon got stabbed in the heart at the end of Season 5 but later came back to life. Recently, a Video of Kit reacting to the read-through of the last script in behind-the-scenes documentary went viral on the internet. Kit cries as he comes to know about the fate of his character and how he kills Emilia Clark’s Danearys Targaryen.
