If you have seen Season 2 of The OA on Netflix, your mind must have been blown by now. Season 2 of the sci-fi series released on Netflix just last week and took our breath away. Won’t give out any spoilers but the season 2 finale episode has many of the fans wanting for more. More reasons, explanations, etc. Therefore the hot topic right now is, when does The OA Season 3 release on Netflix?
Let’s first dive into the plot of The OA, because it is relatively a new show. So it begins with the story of Nina aka Prairie aka the OA who returns to her home after a seven-year disappearance. Mind you, she was blind when she left, and now she’s no longer blind. Nina’s story sprawls over two seasons; we saw who came into her life and the consequences they had, and in more than one dimension. To cut the story short, by the end of Season 2, we saw Brit headed to the hospital after what supposedly I’d say was an on-set injury.
The OA Season 3 hasn’t been renewed as of now. It’s too soon for any confirmation but at the same time, I must tell you that The OA Season 3 getting a green light is almost a 100%. The OA left us panting with a cliffhanger, so there’s no reason as to why it shouldn’t be back at all. Season 2 of The OA was released on March 22, 2019. Season 1, on the other hand, dropped on December 16, 2016. So as you read, there was a long gap between the two Seasons. Therefore we can’t say for sure when Season 3 should come out.
As goes for the trailer, it obviously won’t be here for a long, long time. Everything depends upon renewal as of now. So let’s just keep our fingers crossed. More as we have it.
