Like we said in one of our previous posts, Zack Snyder, for some reason, has a huge heart when it comes to teasing the fans. It’s been three years since the release of the very much disliked theatrical version of Justice League, directed by Joss Whedon, when Zack Snyder left the movie due to family emergencies. Since then, all Zack Snyder did is tease fans with images, plots, and stories he had originally planned for his cut. The teases got most of the fan’s attention and led to a dubbed movement as #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
Today, after three years of teasing, an online petition signed by millions of fans, and humongous support from the cast of Justice League, Zack Snyder has finally been granted the keys by Warner Bros. to showcase his cut for Justice League, which will be arriving on HBO Max this year.
The announcement doesn’t mean that Zack Snyder has stopped there. From new teasers to added scenes to extended story-lines, the arrival of Darkseid and a lot more has been constantly teased by the director who has made the movie one of the highly-anticipated ventures for 2021, and we expect nothing less.
Recently talks were buzzing about Joker being part of the upcoming Justice League Director’s cut by Zack Snyder, and even Snyder talked about how the character was set to be the part of the movie. The buzz was very much denied by Jared Leto, who plays the clown prince Joker’s role in DCEU. Still, Zack Snyder has very much confirmed through a new and recent interview that he has shot two additional scenes for the upcoming DC movie, and one of them does involve the clown prince.
Here we are decoding everything Zack Snyder had to say about the two new additional scenes and Joker’s involvement in the upcoming much-awaited Justice League: Director’s Cut or like fans like to call it Justice League: Snyder Cut.

Zack Snyder On Two New Additional Scenes For Justice League
As we previously reported, Zack Snyder had a vision where he wanted to write a comic for the movie of Justice League and shared in an interview how Joker would be involved in the movie. The interview had a lot of fans buzzing, and Jared Leto was asked on Variety podcast if he has shot a scene with Zack Snyder for the upcoming Justice League movie, to which the actor unwillingly replied, saying he may or may not have shot but looks forward to working with Snyder in future.
Either way, now Zack Snyder has confirmed Joker’s appearance through an interview with Comickbookonline. He talked about two new additional scenes for the upcoming DCEU movie, with one of them involving the clown prince. Zack Snyder told ComicBookonline that a tiny portion of the movie he shot is the new stuff. Snyder explained that visual effects-wise, 80% of the movie has never been seen by anyone, including the scenes with no visual effects. Snyder claimed that’s the part with new visuals that he is excited to show to the fans, and he can’t wait for all the fans to experience this new giant-scale adventure he created and always intended to show.
Talking about the two new scenes, Zack Snyder shared that there are two bits that he added. He always wanted in the post but never got the chance, and the second scene involving Jared Leto, which is a whole little piece. Zack Snyder went on to say that apart from all this, the rest of the four hours of the movie are just what he shot. Zack Snyder further explained that he was struggling with the studio, and there was a lot to do, including making it funny and stuff. Zack Snyder stated that intentionally he just kept doing his things at the same time so that he would have closer to what he always wanted without having any influence.

Concluding
Prophecy has been fulfilled, we could say. Anyway, so it’s happening, no matter how much Jared Leto wanted to keep it a secret. The truth is out in the open that Snyder has shot a scene with the actor who will next be seen in Warner Bros. movie “The Little Things” along with DCEU’s Justice League: Snyder Cut.
Zack Snyder, an interview as we reported and broke down previously, shared how one of the mother boxes will be with the Joker and how he will build a super-cosmic treadmill that will be used by Flash to time travel and connect all the dots. You can check our articles from the related section of this piece, where you can get more insight on Joker’s part on Zack Snyder’s Justice League. But is it the same scene? Or Snyder has done some minor changes to give something unexpected remains to be seen.
Throughout DCEU, we believe a talented actor like Jared Leto still has not got a good chance to portray his skills as Joker’s prevalent character, which has got an iconic status after its portrayal by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. In the movie Suicide Squad, where he debuted as the clown prince, most of his shots were cut from the theatrical cut. We also believe that Justice League’s Snyder Cut’s success may give rise to many other projects, including a Director’s cut of Suicide Squad, which has been supported by director David Ayer and Jared Leto himself.
