Outlander deals with the story of Nurses adventures on Starz. It traces her journey as a World War 2 nurse who later is transported back to Scotland in 1743. The transition to two centuries older isn’t an easy one on her, and therefore she must be able to adapt to her circumstances and change them for better or for worse.
Season 4 of Outlander is currently on air, it debuted on Starz on November 4th, 2018 and it is due to wrap up on January 27th, 2019. In the United States, you will find Outlander on the streaming service of Starz and not on Netflix, same is the case with the UK where Outlander airs on Amazon Prime. But in other regions such as Australia and Canada, Outlander airs on Netflix. Today we’ll talk about when Season 4 of Outlander is coming to Netflix Australia.
Netflix has Outlander in multiple regions besides the above two such as mainland Europe, Latin America and most of Asia too. Season 4 which is on air currently in the US has 13 episodes in total. Reports confirm that the US network Starz has already greenlit seasons five and six.
For those of you watching it, you may know that Season 4 is set in America and is based upon the book Drums of Autumn and the plot is based upon Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta (actress Maria Doyle Kennedy). Stephen Bonnet plays the villain (actor Ed Speleers). All previous Seasons of Outlander have screened on Foxtel’s Showcase, so expect Season 4 to be there too although this news isn’t confirmed as of now.
Coming back to the Netflix bit, for those watching in Australia and Canada, Outlander Season 3 just arrived on Netflix in September 2018 and August 2018 respectively, and fans cannot wait for Season 4 to be aired on the digital streaming giant. Fact is, for those wanting to watch Outlander Season 4 on Netflix, a due date isn’t known. One wire to wait for until mid-to-late 2019. Since Season 3 arrived in these two countries in the second half of 2018, you may expect a similar update for Season 4 as well.
