Cloak and Dagger have been renewed for a second season. The first season of the show was well-received by the fans, and it was renewed for a deserving second season. The Marvel series has earned a lot of popularity since its release, and if you check the reviews for the series, then you would know that the fans desperately wanted to the show to come back.
Freeform produced the show. It was also shown on Amazon Prime Video. The first season of the show aired in June 2018. The news of the renewal came shortly afterward in July 2018. At the time of renewal, it wasn’t revealed when the second season would be released. It took some time before the confirmed update of the season of Cloak and Dagger was revealed. The second season will air on April 4.

In the second season, we will see some fascinating stuff. In the finale of the first season, we saw Tyrone and Tandy’s roles behind reversed to a certain extent. Tandy came back to her family while Tyrone was on the run this time after he used his power in the finale.
Showrunner Joe Pokaski said that in the second season we would see where Tyrone went. He said that Tandy and Tyrone were forced into the heroic role in season one whether they liked it or not. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the second season of the show.

Cloak and Dagger fans, your day has come. I know many of you would be already aware that the update has been announced. Let me reconfirm and retell you that the show will be coming back on Freeform channel on 4 April. Yes, just three days away, and we will see more of the show.
The second season is supposed to include ten episodes, confirmed by Freeform. Also, the season premiere episode will be followed by the second episode. Which means, we will see two back-to-back episodes on 4 April 2019. So, get ready for more superhero entertainment Marvel fans!
