Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2 Production
The first season of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun was animated by Studio Lerche, and for those who are familiar with its works we have seen it work on Radiant, Astra Lost in Space and the Asobi Asobase which were great hits and had good animation as well.
Masaomi Ando from Astra Lost in Space will be helming the Toilet Bound Hanako Kun project while Yasuhiro Nakanishi, who is popular from his works in Carole and Tuesday anime will be working on the scripts. The character designing will be handled by Mayuka Itou and Yuji Higa will be the animation producer. For now, the opening for Season 2 music theme song and end have not yet been officially announced.

Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2 will be released in Spring 2021. The series was insanely popular in the anime fandom, so it is bound to get a second season. The production of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun projects is led by Square Enix and Studio Lerche. So far they have not yet confirmed any official updates.
As far as season 2 is concerned, so far there isn’t even an official confirmation of it or any sequels related to the anime. But it is likely that the announcement will come in due time as season 1 left so many things that need explanation. And considering the manga content, then it is just a matter of time before the confirmation and update are revealed to the fans.

What Will Happen in Toilet Boun Hanako Kun Season 2?
Since the story for Toilet Bound Hanako Kun is based on the manga of the same name. Manga readers can read ahead of the adapted chapters and then have an idea of what will happen in Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2. The Manga is currently ongoing and as of December 2019 has produced 12 Volumes published in Square Enix Monthly G Fantasy magazine.
So far the anime has stuck to the Manga plot throughout its first season. And season 2 will just be a continuation of the same story through the chapters that re yet to be adapted. The season finale managed to adapt up until Volume 6 Chapter 29. So we will get to see the next story arc in season 2 which is only 6 chapters as it runs up to Chapter 35 from Volume 7.
If you can’t wait and want to read ahead of the anime, you can continue from Chapter 30 from the digital Volume 6. But if you are an anime-only fan, then you might wanna go back and read the chapters that season 1 had skipped.
For now, there wouldn’t be many holds for Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2 release as there is already enough source material available for adaptation. And considering the rate at which the manga is going, there will still be enough source material to even make it to season 3 by the end of this year.
