In the second season of Ozark, we saw Marty and Wendy indulging in dirtier deeds than before. So, the wait for the third season is driving fans absolutely crazy due to the hype. Jason Bateman confirmed that the show would be coming back with the third season and it will have ten episodes.
The production of the show started in May 2019. The first season aired in June and the second season was released in August 2018. Since the production of the show only just began, we can expect the third season of Ozark in summer 2020.
Chris Mundy, the showrunner said that the new season would see Wendy and Marty Byrde struggling a bit more. Chris also confirmed that Wendy’s brothers would be added to the cast. He is going to have a crucial role in the upcoming season.
In the finale of the second season, we saw the opening of Marty’s giant casino boat. He is going to use the boat to launder drugs worth millions of dollars for the Mexican drug cartel. We expect this to be the main focus of the third season. There are obviously many loose ends that will need tying up.
