Gold Rush is airing its ninth season currently, and it is almost at its climax. The ninth season of Gold Rush is about to air its finale in a few days. The finale will air on March 22, 2019. The ninth season has been great, and it hasn’t lacked in entertainment. With the finale about to air soon, the fans are already looking forward to what is next for the show.
The tenth season of the show has not been confirmed. But, it seems that a renewal is very likely and it is going to happen sooner or later. The show attracts an average audience of more than 2 million every season. So, I don’t think there should be a problem with a possible renewal. One of the main reasons is the number of viewers that watch the show, and Gold Rush has plenty of them.
Unless Discovery wants to cancel it for some reason, I don’t see the show not being renewed for its tenth season, if the show ends up getting a renewal, then we could get the tenth season in late 2019. The previous release dates clearly hint towards an October release date.
We don’t have any idea right now who might be leaving or joining the cast for the tenth season. This is the current cast of the show, and if there are any changes to this, we will let you know:

Unless there isn’t any major drama in the finale of the ninth season, I don’t think the cast will be shuffled.
There is no news if there will be a special season in between. There is a good chance that there might be one. However, we will have to wait until a reliable source confirms this bit. I’m sure no one will mind if there is a short special season before the tenth season finally kicks off.
