The Masked Singer finally completed its second season, with its 13th episode, and we will be informing you about who won the show. As we know, we had three contestants, who performed on the finale day. We saw Fox performing Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Redding. Also, we listened to Flamingo singing Proud Mary by Tina Turner. Moreover, the last performance was of Rottweiler who sang Alive by Sia.
All the performances were soothing and all the three contestants performed really good. It goes without saying as their talent brought them here, so they would of course sing good. However, I am delighted to tell you that the winner was Fox, whose real name is Wayne Brady. He is an actor from profession, and has successfully completed his mission in the show.
Rotweiler, real name Chris Daughtry, was the runner up contestant, while Flamingo, real name Adrienne Bailon, was on third position. I believe that Fox or Wayne deserves it as he has won two faceoffs and has proved himself every time, and therefore he got the support from the audience too. The show completed 10 weeks and finished the show in 13 episodes.
However, if you think this is the end, then it is not. We already have another season coming in a month. The upcoming season will start airing from 2 February 2020, which is just one and a half months away. Therefore, it would be interesting to see how is the upcoming season.
The current season had a celebrity and nobody knew about it, and even Wayne was surprised that he never kept a secret so long. He said, “This whole thing has just been the most fun ever, and it’s the first time in my life that I’ve kept a secret for months on end.” It was clearly a shock to a lot of people, but interesting to see an actor singing really good and even winning a singing competition.
The show airs on Fox, and coincidentally the guy with Fox mask won the show. The upcoming season will also be aired at the same time as the previous season, at 8 PM on Wednesdays, but the first episode will be on Sunday. The third season starts airing from 2 February 2020.
