Steins;Gate 0 Manga Ending Next Month In February 2020

Taka Himeno’s Steins;Gate 0 manga will be ending next month, revealed the February issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine on Saturday. According to ANN, Taka Himeno’s manga will receive the ending on the February 4 issue of the magazine.

The manga was announced in the July issue of Young Ace in 2017 and is the prequel of 5pb.’s visual novel video game of the same name. The story of the game takes place directly after the events of the Steins;Gate game.

The Steins;Gate 0 manga serves as a prequel to the alternate ending of the series. In the manga, the eccentric mad scientist Okabe Rintarou struggles to recover from the events that happened while trying to save Kurisu. He gives up his scientist alter ago and decides to live a normal life to forget what occurred in the past… until he meets an acquaintance of Kurisu. The acquaintance informs him that they have a device in the testing phase, using which one can store a person’s memory and create a simulation of them. The simulation will consist of a person’s characteristics. Okabe, of course, decides to create a simulation of Kurisu which brings a lot of new pain…

The Steins;Gate 0 game was first released in Japan for PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita in 2015 and then was released for PC in 2016, Xbox in 2017, and finally, a Nintendo Switched released in 2019.

The series also received an anime of its own, created by White Fox, and served as a sequel to the original 2011 series. It aired between April 12 and September 27, 2018, and consisted of twenty-three episodes. The show is directed by Kenichi Kawamura and written by Jukki Hanada. The series was simulcasted by Crunchyroll, AnimeLab, and Aniplus Asia. It also received an English dub via Funimation.
