Seems like the wait is finally over as the third movie from the Conjuring movie series is finally going to hit the theatres this year. It is hard to believe that the first movie of the franchise was dropped eight years ago, which had set a new benchmark for movies in supernatural horror genre.
The upcoming movie has been directed by Michael Chaves, with Peter Safran and James Wan serving as the producers, under the production house of The Safran Company, New Line Cinema and Atomic Monster Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
The Conjuring 3 Release Date

The first movie, ‘The Conjuring’ had released on July 19, 2013 in Canada and the United States, which was a massive hit, grossing more than $319 million globally, against a small budget of $20 million. The success of the film encouraged the film makers to deliver more sequels, (The Conjuring 2) as well as several related films, including ‘Anabelle’ (2014), it’s prequel, ‘Annabelle: Creation’ (2017) and their sequel, ‘Annabelle Comes Home’ (2019). The official sequel of ‘The Conjuring’ titled as, ‘The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Case,’ had hit the silver screens in the US on June 10, 2016, and like it’s predecessor, it was a box office hit.

The Conjuring 3 Plotline
All the earlier movies of the series have been inspired from real life stories and this time, the movie has been inspired by the story of a murder trial that happened in the year 1981, in Connecticut. The movie will feature one of the most sensational cases from the careers of Lorraine Warren and Ed Warren, where the murder suspect, Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who is a young boy, states to have been under demonic possession while committing the crime of brutally murdering his landlord, Alan Bono. The title itself gives away the theme of the movie. The Warrens are involved here as well as they were associated in the exorcism of David Glatzel, involving the same demon.
This time, we are going to witness a feeling different from that of the other movies of the franchise, since there is no concept of a haunted house, at least superficially.
