‘Game of Thrones Season 8’ Episodes Runtime Revealed By HBO

Game of Thrones Season 8 Release Date

Game of Thrones Season 8 is just about a month away now, and fans cannot help but be excited about it, doubly so because we’ve had to wait an extra year for the show’s eighth season to come out. Game of Thrones Season 8 was expected to come out in late 2018 at first, but HBO president Casey Bloys immediately made it clear that the show wouldn’t return before 2019.

Now, we’re just a couple of weeks away from the show’s return, and we recently got our first trailer which gave us a glimpse of what we’ll be getting in the upcoming season of GoT. The trailer also went on to become the most watched trailer for a Television series with 80+ views in a very short span of time. As Game of Thrones Season 8 approaches, we’re getting more information with each passing day, and it seems we have a huge season ahead of us.

By huge, I’m talking about the runtime of the episodes that are going to be in the final season of Game of Thrones. We’ve already been told that Game of Thrones Season 8 is going to have a total of 6 episodes.

However, these episodes will have a longer runtime than usual episodes to compensate. Now, HBO has recently revealed what the runtime of each episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 would be and, it seems we have a monstrous season ahead of us.

Here’s the runtime for each episode as mentioned by HBO:
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 1: 54 minutes
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2: 58 minutes
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3: 60 minutes
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4: 78 minutes
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5: 80 minutes
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6: 80 minutes

While all the episodes are very long, the last two appear to be insanely lengthy, and I can’t believe we’re going to get all this stuff just a month from now. I can’t be more excited for Game of Thrones Season 8, and I hope you feel the same way about it. What are your thoughts on the runtime of Game of Thrones Season 8 episodes?
