We’ve been hearing so much about impending changes that will be made to the One Piece anime, and we got our first glimpse of it earlier today. We’re almost at the end of the Reverie arc now, with just one more episode to go. After that, we’ll get a three-episode filler arc which will probably include promotional content for the upcoming One Piece: Stampede movie.
After that, we’ll see the start of the Wano Country arc in the anime from Episode 892. With the start of the new arc, we’ll see lots of new changes being made to the staff. This is understandable because Wano has been hyped as the best arc of One Piece by Oda himself. According to Oda, Wano is going to be so incredible that even Marineford will look like a joke when compared to it.
The best of arcs deserves all these changes, and today we saw a 30-second preview for One Piece’s Wano Country arc. We got to see all the Strawhat Pirates who went to Wano early on and lots of other vibrant stuff too. Most importantly, the usage of Toei’s new line filter and a great composite was evident.
One Piece now looks like it has never done before and I’m very excited about this. Form One Piece Episode 892, we’ll see Tatsuya Nagamine take over as the series director, who has previously served as the co-director alongside Fukuzawa during the Zou arc. We’ll also see a new Character Designer for One Piece, which from the preview looks to be Midori Matsuda.
It’s a great time to be alive for the One Piece fans! What are your thoughts on all this? Let us know in the comments section below!
