Tonight’s episode of Black Lightning (3×4) will deal with Jefferson as he faces a fresh set of challenges due to the horrible state of Freeland. Next, we will see Lynn under intense pressure in her attempt to desperately find a solution to the ongoing crisis in Freeland. Anissa continues her work at the clinic.

The thing about Jefferson is that he still is unaware of the full consequences of the brutal occupation. But more than anything, he is concerned about the pathetic living conditions of his fellow citizens. Therefore, there’s no way the hero is going to be a mute spectator to the whole thing and give a free hand to the ASA to commit human rights violations.

It should be obvious to everyone that Jefferson wants to help out his fellow citizens. Jefferson’s tailor friend, a long-time loyal, Peter Gambi (James Remar) talks to him about the deal that he has made with Agent Odell (Bill Duke). Black Lightning, in case he returns to the streets, his daughters will be taken captive into the ASA custody.

“Things have to change”, says Jefferson. He also describes the occupation an over-kill. So let’s just for a moment forget that Black Lightning is going to be blackmailed at the hands of Agent Odell and not do anything about his hometown.
