Samsung launched its Galaxy Watch Active not too long ago. The watch was released in February earlier this year and now we have Galaxy Watch Active on the way. For the users of the watch, it is good news as the new watch will bring newer stuff to the table. With the release of Galaxy Watch Active 2 on the cards, it is fair to assume that the watch has been a success story for Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is anthat will deliver a lot more improvements on the health and wellness front.
The watch will be available in 40mm and 44mm variants. There are 1.2 inch and 1.4 inch AMOLED displays in the two variants. It will also support 4G LTE and it will also feature a new ECG (electrocardiogram) sensor that will help you to monitor your heart better. It also has a digital rotating bezel. Samsung is obviously aiming to provide competition to Apple.

Galaxy Watch Active has a silver stainless steel case for the LTE variant. The Bluetooth versions of the watch will come in silver, black and a pink color which is called lily gold. Just like the previous version, the watch will have 5-ATM water resistance and it has interchangeable 20mm watch straps. In comparison to its predecessor, the bezels on the watch are thinner so as to accommodate larger screens.
The new feature on Galaxy Watch Active 2 is the rotating bezel that will help to navigate. This bezel is a digital implementation and it will act as an edge gesture. Samsung is also adding a new feature to the Galaxy Watch Active that is called My Style. This allows you to take a picture if your outfit and then it generates five different watch faces that are based on it.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Specs
With the Galaxy Watch Active 2 you will have the option of 4G LTE connectivity. This will enable you to roam without your phone and you can still receive messages and calls. The watch will have the same dual-core, 1.15GHz Exynos 9110 and 768MB of RAM. The LTE model has 1.5 GB of RAM.
Galaxy Watch Active will have improved battery life. The 40mm variant will have a 247mAh battery while as the 44mm version has a 340mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is available for pre-order and the full sales will start on September 27. It is priced at $280 and $300 for the 40mm and 44mm variants respectively.
