Ben Aldridge, the guy who plays Captain James in Our Girl Season 5. Ben Aldridge sat down with media recently and dished stuff on Captain James and the rest of the show. He very clearly put forward his stance, that he won’t return in a new series of Our Girl. Captain James, the 33-year-old actor plays Captain Charles James in this very BBC series. He was cast opposite to the character of Michelle Keegan’s Corporal Georgie Lane. Season 4 showed them jumped off a cliff literally, to flee a pursuing cartel.
As of The BBC hasn’t announced any plans for a new series springing up. They have stated that they are currently considering a follow-up but aren’t sure of how that would pan out. Aldridge himself confirmed that there’s the talk of Season 5, but if that will happen, he’s not returning. He’s going to be a part of another project and therefore Season 5 will be very difficult to happen for him.
Our Girl is a British television military drama series which is written and created by Tony Grounds. The TV show would play on BBC One on 24 March 2013. In the very beginning, it starred as Lacey Turner as Molly Dawes, who’s from a working-class background and her adventure starts when she joins the British Army after deciding her life is going nowhere. The pilot of the show was a successful one. It was a feature-length pilot episode; we used a full series of five episodes. The broadcast was commissioned on 21 September 2014.
Iwan Rheon and Ben Aldridge rode the show on their shoulders as part of the main cast. They played Private Dylan “Smurf” Smith and Captain Charles James respectively. As goes for One Girl Season 5, we don’t have any concrete news. But as soon as we have it, we’ll be sure to update you with the same.
