This year’s E3 was very exciting and among all the amazing showcased in the event, fans were pretty hyped for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game from Crytal Dynamics, the same developer behind the fan-favorite Tomb Raider franchise and fans can’t wait for the game any longer.

The game is published by Square Enix and as expected, the action-adventure game is based on the Marvel’s comics’ Avengers. The initial presentation lacked the official gameplay, however, from the trailer of the game, it is safe to expect some really kick-ass story. Recently, the co-op details of the game have been revealed, and we have got the information. The game will be having the main story campaign which would be single-player and offline while some of the side missions of the game are reported to be co-op only.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Philippe Therien, the lead designer revealed that the there is a ‘cool’ mix of ranged combat and melee, and some of the characters will be able to work only one type. He added that sometimes the game would be directed, however, there will be cases where gamers will have to do all the work. The Avengers can go anywhere, and it depends on their current location.

Also, when playing online, players will be able to play using one character only, and all the Avengers heroes have their own unique skills and talents. According to Crystal Dynamics, side missions are not necessary at all, however, completing those will give certain benefits which will help in the particular arc players are playing.

It will be more interesting when Square Enix, reveals more of the actual gameplay and showcases all these features to the fans then, we will have a better understanding.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released on 15th May 2020, and it will be available for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
