Kennedy noted that the first season of the show was extremely well-received and praised the work of director Deborah Chow. She also acknowledged the heavy appeal from supporters and even from Ewan McGregor himself, who has expressed his desire to return to the role.
Although Kennedy did not provide a timeline for any potential future projects, she did emphasize that the studio is currently focused on other projects. She stated that “everybody’s all hands on deck with what we’re doing right now, as you can see by what we showed everybody at the celebration,”.
Indicating that there are other projects currently in the works. Kennedy concluded by stating that the possibility of another Kenobi project is always on the table, but that the studio will turn its attention to it “maybe down the road.”
