Good Boys is a comedy movie, which is co-written and directed by Gene Stupnitsky, who is making his directorial debut. The movie made its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 11, 2019. It is scheduled to be released on August 16, 2019, by Universal Pictures.

Synopsis:
The movie follows a twelve-year-old boy named Max. He is invited to his first kissing party because he doesn’t know how to kiss. Max wants to pick up a bit of information from his best friends Lucas and Thor. They decide to use Max’s father’s drone, which they are forbidden to touch. They use it to spy on a teenage couple who are making out. So, to get it back before Max’s father gets back home. The boys end up skipping school in an epic adventure that involves some accidentally stolen drugs and paintball. The trio runs away from the cops and frightening girls.
The movie has a rating of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 52 out of 100. From the rating, it seems that the movie is fairly average. But, it’s not too wise to judge a book by its cover now, is it? I think you should give the movie a try when it is released unless you care about the reviews too much.
