Biomutant: Updates and update

In August of 2018, we heard that Biomutant was pushed back to 2019 due to various reasons. It was supposed to be released in 2018 only, but then THQ Nordic announced that the kung-fu fable RPG,  Biomutant wouldn’t make it the previous year. This news was also accompanied by a short trailer that showed better graphics, and that just made fans antsier. The heads Experiment 101 and Nordic didn’t give us concrete reasons as to why Biomutant was delayed. They just said it was. So that was that about this kung-fu fable.

But now that we have entered the new year, we deserve to know what happens to Biomutant. First off, Biomutant is Experiment 101’s debut game and has gained hype with the freshly released 2018 video. It is Biomutant, a post-apocalyptic open-world RPG with a unique sense of humor and color scheme. (latest update at the end)

Biomutant update

As players, your job is to play as anthropomorphized creatures. That means that you will embark on a quest to save the Tree of Life from poison as well as the host of enemies who are destroying its roots. Reports state that the delay took place due to developmental issues such as the onerous task of balancing melee and long-range combat. Particularly what catches the attention is the vibrant color scheme of Biomutant.

The release of Biomutant as and when it happens will only aid in the revival of the AA sector. THQ Nordic, in association with the Focus Home Entertainment us working hard at the very same goal. It should, therefore, beat The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to punch! And if this turns out well, Biomutant may turn into a hugely successful business and a franchise.

Biomutant Gameplay

Reports say that Biomutant will be out by the second half of 2019. Biomutant has no confirmed update as of now. It will be available on major platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. More as we have it.

Recently, the game was presented in PAX East 2019, which included many games. Biomutant was available to be played, which was an excellent experience for many. However, some of them reported that some unnecessary slow-motion effects, as well as comic book effects, were a bit offbeat.

The game is supposed to hit the shelves later this year, and it will be available for XBOX, PS4, and PC. No update is proposed, but we are assured that the game was coming in 2019. Many gamers had mixed opinions on the game after playing it at PAX East 2019, and we need to wait for the game to release to check ourselves.

Coronavirus Update

The game has not revealed any new details for a while and all the fans are having questions rising in their minds, including whether the game is still in development or not. Well, this is not even a question for a big title like Biomutant which is one of the most anticipated games games. Just to confirm, Experiment 101, the developer of the game, has also insured that they are working on the game. “Let us assure you that we’ve never been working harder and more focused on it than now,” was their official statement.

However, the world is at a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not yet sure whether the game is still under development or not. No details have been shared on the official twitter handle, which can be taken as a confirmation that the game is still being produced remotely.
