Because Tohru always listens to his problems and what’s bothering him. She keeps on consoling him to live freely and enjoy his life without pain. Tohru accepted the way Yuki is even though everyone used to think of him as a Rat that is always hated.

Yuki is now at peace due to Tohru’s appearance in his life including some of Soma’s family members. Yuki is also glad that he can live peacefully knowing that he is loved unconditionally. Yuki explains to his friend about the night Kyo transformed and Tohru was the one who helped Kyo to get back to normal again. That is when Yuki gets more romantically attracted to Tohru. He now has a mother’s love that he was yearning ever since he was young.
Yuki said that he ignored his feeling he thought it was not true but he tried to interact with Tohru as everyman does with a woman. But he thought it was wrong until he realizes it now. Yuki’s friend said that people always look for a partner that is exactly like their mom all the time. Yuki’s friend thinks that Yuki is twisting the story because he has given up on Tohru to confess his feelings. He asked Yuki if he can beat Kyo or something.
Yuki replies that it is not like that the fact is Kyo sees Tohru just like any other girl. Yuki thinks that Kyo loves Tohru and Tohru loves him too, he can see it in their eyes. Yuki said it does not matter if he can beat Kyo he can work out through his feelings. He doesn’t want to fight over someone or he will feel lonely he wants to discover it on his own. Later Kimi came and punches Nabe for bothering Yuki bt Yuki feels fine after talking his heart out.
Yuki told Nabe that he didn’t tell Tohru because he doesn’t want her to worry. The Cinderella Culture festival is about to begin. Everyone is practicing their role meanwhile Yuki met wit Kyo who is angry. Yuki asks Kyo to go and practice with others. Kyo refuses and said that Yuki doesn’t know to be like him.
He is now a popular prince who gets everything. Kyo saw some zodiac spirit in the eyes of Yuki and he punches the window after that he left Yuki. Kyo went to the class and find Tohru waiting for him, he asked himself what was she thinking while waiting for him. Kyo remembers Yuki’s words not to make Tohru worry and he releases that he was wrong. He then decided that he will do the Cinderella play.
