The plot of this episode deals with women visiting Lagertha from the nearby villages. As they feast together happily, the community is shattered by shocking events that follow. On the other hand, in Kiev, Oleg continues to be friendly but Ivar is well aware of the threat which Oleg poses to himself and to the vulnerable young heir to the throne. Meanwhile, Bjorn has answered the call to come to the aid of an old enemy, but all is not as it seems and disaster looms for Bjorn’s forces.

The preview clearly teased how desperate the new king of Kattegat, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) really is. Therefore Olaf and his soldiers are in anticipation of the attack from Bjorn. Bjorn has chosen to invade through waters and that’s where King Olaf’s soldiers are waiting to counter him. Given such a scenario, Bjorn’s soldiers will retreat. Though his army will suffer heavy reverses, he may be able to make it alive. Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) prepares for invasion too, so she warns her team to be on toes. She knows that this fight will take the lives of her many comrades.
