The mobile spin-off to the EVE Online, EVE Echoes, was revealed by CCP games back in 2018, and ever since the official announcement was made, fans have been keeping tabs on every littlethat gets public. The original game, EVE Online is an MMORPG game (Massive multiplayer online role-playing game) which is based on space and allows players from all over the world to take part in activities such as mining trading, exploration, piracy, and others. The game also features a total of 7,800 star systems, so players won’t feel bored as the scope of exploration is quite big. The game has been pretty popular ever since it made its debut back in 2003.
The game was initially published by Simon & Schuster Interactive. However, CCP games acquired the rights later. Now, to expand the game beyond the normal devices, the developers decided to create a separate version for the mobiles. In a statement, NetEase’s General manager of Marketing, Frank Xiang said that being such a big fan of the original game, they decided to challenge themselves and make a similar ambitious game like EVE Online but, for mobile devices.
EVE Echoes Beta Testing
As of now, EVE Echoes has been released is available for beta testing. The beta version released back in December 2019 and is live for players to get a first-class hands-on experience of the game. The game is reported to set in an alternate universe. However, the core concepts seem to be the same. Apart from these, the beta version also features a ton of other things such as new modules, more advanced ships, and cool drones.
The beta version is released for both Android and iOS, and it is available for fans in Canada, Europe, Australia, Russia, South Korea, USA, and New Zealand.
EVE Echoes update
