My Hero Academia is heading in a very interesting direction and this week, we’ll be seeing stuff that explains a lot of what we saw towards the end of the previous chapter. If you may recall, towards the end of My Hero Academia Chapter 220, we saw Gigantomachia fighting against the League of Villains and they were having a very rough time.
Gigantomachia was crying over All For One’s capture and fighting the league certainly meant it had something to do with them. My Hero Academia Chapter 220 explains what actually happened, and that’s exactly what we’ll be talking about in this post.
Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post may contain a bunch of spoilers from the the anime, and the manga too. If you don’t want to get spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
My Hero Academia Chapter 220 is titled, My Villain a Academia and it tells the story from the perspective of Gigantomachia, it seems. First we saw the Villains raiding some other small villain groups because they’re out of money. They want to steal and take their gold. Later, we shift to Gigantomachia and we see a bit of his past.
It seems he was experimented upon and now he’s so huge and strong because of that. He possibly also had a quirk related to that. After All For One’s capture, it seems Gigantomachia isn’t sure that Shigaraki will be fit enough to fill the boots of All For One, someone who he adored. What he decides to do is to fight the League of Villains head on.
He wants them to prove to him that they’re worth following and to achieve that, they likely need to defeat him. Like I said, My Hero Academia Chapter 220 seems like it is very interesting. I hope it manages to live up to the expectations.
My Hero Academia Chapter 220 drops on March 18, 2019. The scans will be out on March 15, 2019.
