The company Xiaomi has released its Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Go phones in the India market. And they have finally released their Redmi Y3 smartphone in India. Redmi Y3 is the successor to the Redmi Y2 that was launched in the previous year. It has the same Aura Design was in the Redmi Note 7. We know that this phone is a selfie phone that has a mind-blowing front facing the camera.
Redmi Y3 has a 32 MP Super Selfie front-facing camera which supports Auto HDR, AI Portrait mode, and AI Beautify 4.0. It also has an 80-degree field of view that allows for group selfies and a feature called ‘Shake-free Selfie’. Moreover, this phone supports 360-degree AI Face Unlock. The rear camera comes with a 12 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor and has AI Scene Detection that supports 33 categories, AI Portrait mode, and Google Lens integration.
Y3 has a 6.26-inch HD+ dot-notch display that offers 1520 x 720 pixels screen resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with a Reading Mode and has a Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It has two variants, first is a 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and second is a 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The phone also comes with a microSD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.
As for Connectivity options it possesses, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are IR blaster and a fingerprint sensor on the back for extra security. This phone runs Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery which offers 18 days of standby time. It will come in two color options which are Bold Red, Elegant Blue and there will make a third Prime Black color option. The phone will go on sale in India from 30th April. The price of the 3 GB RAM model will be Rs. 9,999 and pricing of 4 GB RAM model will be Rs. 11,999. It will be available from 30th April on Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Stores across India.
