Updated on 6 July 2019:
Fans were waiting curiously for more updates about the game since E3 last year, as they got a breathtaking gameplay clip in that event. Since then, fans are having a lot of expectations from that game, and they keep asking Ubisoft about the update. Ubisoft has decided to stay quiet about the game, as they did not even have a single announcement about Skulls & Bones in E3 2019.
Fans were shocked to see such treatment to a game they announced at E3 2018 with a lot of details. But it might be possible that the developers do not want to rush anything, and want to release the game after making it as smooth as possible, so that the players do not have any hassle. We will have to see if they have any plans to release it by the end of this year, which is what the fans are expecting as of now. Early 2020 release might also be announced, but I hope they try to release it this year!
