The Plot of Insecure
The Story mainly pirouettes around two black females Issa and Molly who have been best friends since their college days, both in their late 20s live in Los Angeles California and share a close bond. The story mainly focuses on how they deal with internal struggles like love, relationships, friendship and the problems that the African American community faces.
Issa works on a non-profitable organization that benefits middle school-aged pupils and Molly is a successful corporate lawyer. Both of them face some complications in their lives like Issa who struggles to put the glow back the relationship between her longtime boyfriend Lawrence(Jay Ellis) who has been slacking in the relationship since his startup failed Molly on the other hand struggles with dating men. The foremost focus of the show is on social and phylogenic issues that African American people face daily.
