Contra Rogue Corps Release Date For Switch Announced: Everything That You Need To Know
Contra is one of the most iconic gaming franchises in the gaming world. This classic shooter is making its return this year to Nintendo Switch which is called as Contra: Rogue Corps. This was revealed during the Nintendo Direct in which it was told that Rogues in a third-person, behind-the-shoulder title. It will also feature moments that are presented from a top-down perspective and the side.
Many different characters were shown during the show. First was Kaiser, some kind of cyborg panda, Ms. Harakiri, a katana-wielding woman and also a colossal bug called “The Gentleman.” You will be able to play solo as well as play alongside your friends with a 4-player online and local multiplayer. Contra series is one of the old games that made its first debut all the way back in 1987.
Konami has released any new installments which have been slowed down in recent years. The latest installment to this series was 2011’s Hard Corps: Uprising which was a prequel to Contra: Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis. Contra Rogue Corps will be released on 24 September 2019. Moreover, it was revealed that a new Contra Anniversary Collection which possesses several games from the past series.
It will also come out on Switch’s Eshop. Nintendo Direct 2019 was last major press conference, and it also marked the end of the E3 this year. It also opened the E3 show floor later on Tuesday, June 11. This year’s E3 was pretty decent, and there were many games’ release dates revealed like Cyberpunk, Watch Dogs, Doom, Halo, etc. But it still pales in comparison to the previous years E3, and hopefully next year it will get better.
