Outmatched is a multi-camera TV show. The show is about ba working-class couple who work very hard to raise their genius kids in South Jersey. The show has an IMDb rating of 5.4/10 which is way below average. Lon Zimmet has developed this new show. Fox Broadcasting Company is one of the major companies to back the show. Season 1 of the show has had 10 episodes and it ended recently. I’ll be talking about Outmatched Season 2 other important details regarding the show. Joe Pennella is the mind behind the show’s cinematography and Brent Carpenter along with Richard Candib and editors. 21–23 minutes is the runtime of the show. Production companies of the show include Briskets Big Yellow House, Fox Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television. Distributors of the show are Fox Corporation and 20th Television. Outmatched Season 2 update
Outmatched Season 2 is expected to be released on January 2021. Outmatched Season 1 was released on 23 January 2020. The season 1 had now ended on 26 March 2020 and the show makers haven’t released any official statement regarding the show being renewed for another season or even the cancellation of the show which seems on the cards. The renewal of a show is based on how the previous season did and to be short and precise the show was awful. There was nothing likeable about the show at all.
So, if Fox has some serious brains they won’t renew the show at all. But sometimes the viewership of the show also affects its renewal. There are some awful shows with a lot of fan base which get renewed again and again but Outmatched doesn’t even have that. So, it is highly likely that the new season of Outmatched will never arrive. But if Fox decides to make a bizarre decision and renew the show which will be a surprise but not impossible it will be released most probably in January of 2021.

Outmatched Review
The Outmatched show has some bizarre reviews. Some of the critics have even criticized the acting as the actors just seem to be reading lines with no emotions like robots. They don’t even seem to know how to deliver a punchline. Rotten Tomatoes has given it a rating of 3/10 which is just awful. Also, on other websites like IMDb have given it a rating of 5.4/10 which frankly seems a bit generous because some would say 5.4/10 for Outmatched is overrated. On Metacritic, the show’s score is 33/100. So, it is clear that none of the people loved the show.
There doesn’t seem to be any plus point of the show if there were any people would have pointed it out for sure. The viewership of the show kept on declining throughout Season 1. The show started out with 3.2 million viewers for the first episode which declined to just 1.99 million viewers till episode 8 but then the finale episode had 2.38 million viewers. This clearly shows us that there doesn’t seem to be a major chance for a new season to come out because Outmatched doesn’t have any decent ratings or any decent viewers as well.
But until and unless it is officially closed down we cannot say anything regarding the show being done for.
